Excellence Through Stewardship has four working committees, including the Audit Operations Committee, the Communications Committee, the Membership Committee and the Technical Development Committee. The members of the various committees represent ETS member organizations and play an integral role in developing and implementing the work of the organization to fulfill its mission and strategic plan.

The Audit Operations Committee supports the ETS audit process, develops related procedures and tools to assist in regular members’ adherence to that process, and leads training efforts for auditors and auditees.

The Communications Committee plans, develops and oversees the implementation of communication and outreach strategies to build global awareness of the importance of stewardship in plant biotechnology and the Excellence Through Stewardship program.

The Membership Committee plans, develops and oversees the implementation of strategies designed to attract new members and recognize existing members.

The Technical Development Committee advances the global adoption of stewardship practices through the development of technical resources and is responsible for revisions to the ETS Guides.

Each committee is composed of representatives of ETS member organizations.

All Committees conduct business within the approved Excellence Through Stewardship Anti-Trust Guidelines.
