|How to Join|
To join, simply follow the steps outlined below.
1. Choose your membership category – Two simple options.
This membership is available to organizations engaged in discovering, developing, handling or commercializing biotechnology-derived plant products. This includes technology companies, academic and governmental institutions, public and private research organizations, seed producers, licensees and other service providers to the industry. Regular members are subject to commitments regarding implementation of stewardship programs and third-party independent audits.
This membership is available for any nonprofit organization, academic institution, government entity or individual that supports plant biotechnology and the Excellence Through Stewardship mission, but is not directly involved in research, development, or manufacture of plant biotechnology products.
2. Contact ETS staff with any questions – For specific questions regarding your membership type, costs and dues associated with membership and your commitments upon joining, please contact the ETS staff. ETS has adopted a flexible dues structure directly related to plant biotech activities and revenues. We are pleased to set up calls with prospective members to answer any question you may have and to outline the benefits of ETS.
4. Board approval – Upon receipt of your application, the ETS Executive Director will forward it to the ETS Board of Directors for approval. That process is generally completed within a few weeks, and at that time the new member will be billed its appropriate dues fee and begin the implementation process.
