Newly Appointed Secretary of ETS

Dennis Thompson was appointed ETS secretary at the June 29 meeting of the Board of Directors. He is the Chief Executive Officer of the Illinois Crop Improvement Association and oversees the company’s multi-crop, third-party seed research and development activities in the United States, including locations in Puerto Rico. Thompson served on the senior management team that attained accreditation for the company’s three multi-disciplined laboratories under ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and National Seed Health System accreditation to perform field phytosanitary inspections. In addition, he is active in the American Seed Trade Association. Thompson holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from Southern Illinois University and a Ph.D. in Vocational and Technical Education from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
